2009 BYU (Brigham Young University) - BA, History I completed a semester abroad in Jerusalem for my last semester here. I also have a minor in Psychology from BYU. 2012 USC (University of Southern California) - MA, Teaching I credentialed in Social Science and did my student teaching at a middle school in Rancho Cordova.
Experience
I have tutored many middle school through college level tutoring students over the last 15 years. I have volunteered with Reading Partners and 4H. My job is to help students learn how to manage their resources so they can also master their subject matter. I have tutored many students with ADD and ADHD as the traditional educational approach doesn't give those students everything they need to succeed. Every student in need of a tutor just needs someone to help them take a step back and organize all their resources in a way that will allow them to succeed. I can help students achieve content mastery while building essential problem solving skills.

Hobbies
I love to cook, write, sew and travel. I've been to different places around the world and love learning about new cultures and meeting new people. I'm down to earth and I love kids. I have grown up around a lot of kids and I currently have three nieces that I love spending time with. I love teaching. Helping students grow to love learning is something that has motivated me to go back to school to become a teacher.
